Skorius
Sometimes, you just needed find a change of scenery, and that was exactly what Skorius was doing. He'd been roaming about for a few days, trying to find the scenery that was best for him.
First, he'd tried the lake and the waterfall, but the waterfall was inhabited by this absolutely foul-tempered three-headed creature that breathed fire at him and almost singed his beautiful mane. THE SHAME. So he hadn't stayed there, and had briefly poked his head into a land where the sun's rays never touched the ground-- that wouldn't do for him either. How would he warm his glorious pelt, and what light would the iridescent feathers in his mane reflect? No no no, he needed somewhere without three-headed fire-breathing monsters or perpetual darkness.
And that's what it looked like he'd found. The sun was warm on his back as he trotted through a lush paradise-- flowers, fruit trees, sunlight. This land was almost as beautiful as him.
The only thing missing were beautiful people to talk to! "Heeello!" he called, through the trees. "I would love to send my compliments to the gardner!"

LALIA
Lalia spat out a mouthful of leaves onto the ground. The raspberry bush she had been workign on finally looked neat. It no longer looked like some weed. Her mouth now stung from the splinter and cut from the twigs and the multiple other bushes still looked horrid but she had gotten three down so far. Only like 20 to go. Lalia groaned while starting to preen the second one.
After she finished a couple more bushes she sat down to admire her handy work. About a quarter of the bushes lining the entrance to her home looked pristine. The others looked like big balls of foliage stuck together by mud. Oh well, that was enough work for one day. With a flick of her ears Lalia stood up and groaned as she did so. This tidying up crap was very tiring. But it was essential to making her alliance appealable to visitors. A couple cracks of twings and the sound of hoof falls caught her attention. Speaking of visitors here came one now.
"Why thank you! It isn't even half down yet. I am Lalia, Queen of these lands. Whom might you be?"
OOC: Sorry this took sooooo long! My old keyboard just started working again.

Skorius
Skor's wish for company to speak to would be answered quickly; all he had to do was round a corner, and there one such person was. A mare, who was enjoying the bushes. Some stray leaves on her and nearby informed him that it was likely she responsible for maintaining such beautiful grounds, a thought she confirmed with her words
"Well Hello!" he called, offering a flourishing bow. "It's nice to meet you. I don't often see queens!" His tone was pleased, and he either didn't notice or care about the etiquette that existed for treating royalty on their own land. "I am Skorius, a traveler: I go to see what I can see. I really like what I see here; it's like a feast for the eyes!" Colors and scents everywhere, not to mention actual fruit trees-- those could be a fruit for a mouth in addition to the eyes, but at the moment it was his aesthetics that were hungry, rather then his stomach.
He smiled at her, thoughtlessly charming, and added, "It does seem like a lot of work, though; even if it's worth it."
