ROMEO Huge black and white wings extended to their full length as Romeo alighted upon the land of Poltergeist the Great Loser, Romeo added in his mind. Half coloured eyes studied the land suspiciously, wary of the wolves he had heard now guarded the borders of the land.
White ears flickered back and forth as he folded up his mighty wings, the tall brute listening intently for any sound that may warn him of approaching beasts. He eyed a small bird of some sort above him and smirked, contemplating if he should shift into it's form and trick the stallion... Then Romeo shook his head, wondering what his hesitation was about and narrowed his eyes in concentration. He reached inwards towards his being, eyeing the details of the small swallow and let loose his ability.
A small swallow, a near perfect replica of the one chirping in a tree high above. The only difference between the bird in the tree and the small animal that was Romeo was that his eyes remained their curios half-colour, a mix of brown and blue. Spreading his significantly smaller wings, Romeo sped upwards and towards the center of the land, all the while searching for Polter, the pegasus that he had heard that was so much like himself.
Landing once more in the lands, Romeo shook the puny swallow's form from his own and stood in his glory once more, patterned coat gleaming from the bathing he had taken earlier in the day. Nostrils flared as he smelt the surroundings, the scent of herd was stronger here. Ears straining to hear a noise, the black and white stallion half-spread his massive wings, white horn glowing in the bright day.
Dear Poltergeist, white Pegasus of these lands, I ask thee to come forward and look upon thy reflection! I ask thee to come forth and meet I, I who is the dreaded Romeo! The huge brute tossed his head high, white and black forelock half masking both eyes as he waited for a reply.

It didn't take long for the scent of the invader to reach his nostrils. The arrogance. Who was this little twat that thought it was funny to compare their likeness in only appearence. This stallion would not know what it was like to live with a venomous snake that twisted around the heart. Forever threatening to strike those close to him. The only way to survive being to offer a cold shoulder, to trick it that this one was not important. Daesia had been the only one that had managed to somehow charm this snake with her voice. As she somehow would lure it and it would embrace her as freely as it imbraced him. Of course the snake was a representation of his own soul, and that he did not suffer from reptile parasites internally! Stranger, I am here. How is it that you know my name; however i do not know yours. How can I dread something that I do not know. These lands are mine I have nothing to dread. Asides from maybe tossing an arrogant stallion who marches in expecting a warm welcome out! Tell me why I should not do that right this moment. We are as alike as the grass is to the sky from different sides. Just because we both have horns and wings doesn't mean we are anything alike. his teal eyes slid judgementally over the other, asessing him as cold words escaped from his mouth. There had been many who had come to test their strength against his. Each time the unworthy were turned away. The question always was, what could be done for them not what they could do for the monarchy. As far as he was concerned each one that resided within these walls had to pay their own way in some way or another. Orpheus guarded the waterfall and showed his strength, daesia was his strong love, Chemical warefare was the mother to his other children. Even the wolves earnt their dinner by guarding the young and the strong alike. Their eyes and paws were everywhere. The Dire wolves were ideal guards. Loyal and feirce. Much like the spirit of the king himself. It did not pay to be kind to strangers straight away, if they were not willing to prove their worth, then what was their worth. If they could not handle his scrunity then what of a true foe? If they could not stand against him, he could not count on them to stand against the foe when it counted most. Trust is an important aspect to the leadership of a kingdom. Without trust there was no alliances, there was no love. Until trust could be estbalished and worth accounted for the cold mask of the king would remain in place. Only those within his closest councel would know the beast he struggled with within. The violence that somehow rippeled throughout his entire body when it was least expected. How was it that he a horse of holy power would have such a problem with his temper, lust and power?

ROMEO Confidence radiated outwards from the stallion as he watched Poltergeist, the white unipeg, approach him. His eyes glinted with a cruel amusement - he had enjoyed luring the white stallion out from hiding. Romeo only grew more and more smug, confident and amused as Poltergeist spoke, his words eliciting a strange, rumbling chuckle from deep in the brute's chest.
Do you know the name of every beast and being that lingers in these lands, threatening those that live here? Just because you may not have heard of me does not make me any lesser, Poltergeist. And even those beasts who you may not be able to name yet should dread, despite your wolfy protection and your own arrogance, still roam your lands.
Romeo grinned his malicious, mischievous smile, one that was fully of painful promises. His dual-toned eyes glinted darkly as he surveyed the stallion, resting a back leg. Ears flickered constantly, catching the sounds of the land around him and Romeo's nostrils quivered as he took in large, calculated breaths.
Dear Polty. You should know that appearances can be deceiving. I did not mean it in the physical sense, but in the sense of who we are. You are like I, and I like you. You may toss me out, but then you will regret not hearing my words, for they are worth heeding.
Ruffling white and black feathers, Romeo shifted his weight to rest the other hind leg. He gazed confidently at the white brute as Poltergeist studied him arrogantly. A soft snort trembled the nostrils of Romeo as he smirked. The judgmental, searching gaze of the stallion standing opposite him did nothing but amuse the Andalusian unipeg.
Now tell me, Polty-boy. Has settling down, owning a few mares, finding a queen and romping with younglings turned you soft? For I see nothing here but idle threats. I am not scared nor intimidated by you, for I believe us to be equally matched, for you are not the only one with magical powers in these lands. Are you such a coward now, hiding behind younglings and mares, that you have lost all sense of manhood? Have you lost the thrill of seeing the challenge in others, the blood dripping from wounds. It is sad to see that the stories of one who rose to all challenges now dominated by some pretty mare.
Romeo winked at the stallion, amusement dancing in blue and brown eyes. His neck arched proudly as he stirred up the stallion, waiting for a reaction. Cruelty etched in the lines of the black and white stallion, malicious humour radiating from nearly every pore. This was a beast who enjoyed tormenting, inflicting cruelties on others. He never knew any better.
Will you listen to me, Poltergeist, ruler of Zyth? Will thy listen to what I have to say, for it will be worthy of thy time and it will benefit yourself and all those you care for. Romeo's voice had fallen, softly spoken as he attempted to draw Poltergeist in, to create an ally for himself for his plans.
OOC: FUAAARK. I wrote out a huge post and then it wouldn't let me post it and I lost it all D: It was so much better than this, so I apologise for the crappy post. I'm half asleep and writing out French notes as well xD
