RULES.
OUT OF CHARACTER
--------------------------------
- We do not allow any mature or graphic sexual material. It is against the ToS and quite frankly it is unnecessary.
- No fighting or drama please. This is a place to let loose, not go picking on each other. If you see a fight though do report it to the admins, we would like to deal with the issue,
- No stealing anything. No images, no writing, no nothing. Give credit where credit is due. This is not a joke guys. credits must be put on images of the source of the stock for example stockprovider@DA.
- No spamming. This is serious. No spamming the c-box, the boards, no spamming anything. If you are caught doing so, ll of your thread, regardless of what they were will be deleted along with your account.
- You must listen to staff. They are staff for a reason and try hard to make this site run, they are volunteers, not people not argue with. If you believe a staff member is treating you unfair PM Gravy and she will deal with the issue.
- Because of the ToS we do have an age limit, which is 13 years of age. Sorry guys, but we have to follow the ToS. Users who are found to be under this age unfortunatly we will have to remove your account.
IN CHARACTER
--------------------------------
- There are no humans, so no people are to be roleplayed.
- Pegasi and unicorns are allowed, given that you have been a member for at least a month, have made at least 50 IC posts, and apply for one through staff. This means that you pm Morphine or another staff member with a general idea of what you would like to create the character as, this also serves to draw our attention to your post count.
- Zebras, donkeys, mules, ect. are allowed.
- Drafts and ponies are allowed.
- When your character dies, it stays dead, unless the power of
necromancy is used to revive it for a short period of time,
ie one thread.
- Powers must be bought, or given through the system, your
character cannot have any powers otherwise.
- Powers cannot be used to "god mod" or control other characters, nor can your character be a master of their power.
FOALS AND FOALING
--------------------------------
- Stallions are only allowed to breed three times each season. Mares only two times.
- You can breed any season but keep in mind the risk of breeding in winter and fall.
- If a mare is unprotected them she may be force claimed or force bred. It is polite to try and arrange this with the player of that horse or at least worn them. No graphic breeding! Just make a short post and fade to grey and say 6this character forcebred.
- horses may age fluidly, this is part of the mutations of this planet. Some horses age slower some horses age faster, try and keep this consistant though!
CLAIMING MARES / LAND
--------------------------------
- Before claiming an inactive Sub-Kingdom the owner must not have posted for two weeks.
- If the owner is inactive for a valid reason that could prevent them from getting on you are not allowed to claim the land. This means they need to have an away post.
- The only exception to the above rule is if the two weeks of inactivity were before the owner went inactive.
- You are not allowed to claim a mare that is played by yourself, or challenge for a land with a horse played by you either.
- If you have claimed or won a challenge for a land post in the herd updates board pretty please. Other wise it won't be yours.
- For three days you are free from challenges after first claiming a land, or winning the challenge for one.
BATTLES / FIGHTING
--------------------------------
- Terms are set by the defender and challenger. Until they are both agreed upon the challenge is not valid. If you can't agree staff will set the terms.
- There is a one week period to reply to a battle post. (Unless one member has a good excuse for a longer time)
- The following terms for attack and dodge can be used: 1 attack and 0 dodges, 2 attacks and 0 dodges, 2 attacks and 1 dodge, 3 attacks and 1 dodge and 3 attacks and 0 dodges. or something entirely else of your devising if both parties agree!
- Power playing is not allowed unless it is a Monarch battle and the horse is using their elemental powers. Elemental powers are only allowed to be used once in a battle, no exceptions.
- You can fight for Sub-Kingdoms, mares, Kingdoms, for practice, and whatever else.
- If a mare is being fought for she must stay with the winner for two weeks and then she is free to leave if she pleases.
- If you turn down a challenge, unless for a clearly stated staff approved reason, you are forfeiting whatever is being challenged for.
- There is a one week recovery time, which is optional although it is recommended. If you do not wait the week the injuries will still be fresh during the next battle.
- There is a one month recovery time for Monarch battles, no exceptions.
- If you are challenging for land and the land owner is absent you must fight the replacement they left in charge.
- You must battle to receive the recovery time. Inheriting, passing down, ect. the throne or land does not earn you any time to recover.
- Recovery time begins after the final judgement has been posted.
- You may challenge for a monarchy if the monarch is not on a cooldown period, you must post a clearly labeled challenge in the royal herd.
- You may claim a monarchy if the royal herd has not been posted in twice per fortnight.
- Land battles only get one judge. Monarch battles get two judges and a tiebreaker if needed.
- If the battle is won by forfeit or breakage of rules by the other person you will still receive your recovery time.
- To challenge for a kingdom the challenger must be apart of that specific kingdom.
- Items can be used in battle if approved by both parties.
BATTLE JUDGING
--------------------------------
- Battles are to be judged by staff or a staff approved member.
- If you believe your judging to be unfair or unbiased, you can apply to have another member judge it.
- You must post this appeal in the next 48 hours of the judging, no later.
- If there where multiple judges, you must state which judging you are opposing.
- You will more than likely be able to choose your new judge, but may not depending on the situation.
MONARCHY
--------------------------------
- Death penalties should not be ignored unless they are for an invalid reason if they are given by a monarch.
- Monarch's rules are to be followed, if they are not you risk punishment.
- Monarchs can give any reasonable punishment to any horse depending on their crime including confiscation of their land, mares, items, ect.
- The character must be a resident in the kingdom to rule it.
- As a Monarch you can alter everything that pertains to your alliance.
- You may not play more than one Monarch at a time.
- If you claim a Kingdom you have one week immunity.
- Monarchs must be active. At least 2 post every two weeks should be made, otherwise you a liable to haved your monarchy claimed!
- Any absence of any of the Monarchs means there should be a temporary replacement until they are able to get back. There is still no guarantee you will get your throne back if the Kingdom is challenged for and the replacement lost.
