Her body burnt with the feeling of the warmth of the day on her body. She was naturlaly warm and this heat just made it all the harder to stay cool. Not to mention the little terror that was baking inside of her. She had to find that goddamned stallion. The fire of her personality burnt just as hot as her tempreture. THIS had not been what she had expected. THIS creature was not planned. It had been tearing her appart since the day he was conceived. Pushing and kicking her insides and she was always starving. Aries could not get enough food into her body it seemed to sate the foals hunger let alone her own. The pain was crippleing. It would soon be time. A blackness washed over her consciousness as she colapsed in the middle of the strange land that smelled like the stranger she had spent a night with.
She awoke to see pupiless black eyes staring into her own. The demon it was out. I thought you were one of the dead mummy a shiver slid down her spine at the words spoken. She was strong and she had never felt her energy so taxed...let alone by one so small.

ROMEO The smell of new life touched the brute's nostrils and they flared in response, a quivering snort breaking the dreadful silence. Today, the whispers that usually could be heard throughout his lands were silent. A first. His ears perked forward, Romeo looked up at a huge eagle perched in a tree high above and he narrowed his eyes in concentration. Usually he wouldn't bother shifting to another being, but he felt that something so small and indiscreet would aid him in figuring out who the intruder, or now intruders, in his lands were.
Summoning the small tingle of power at the back of his mind, Romeo studied the bird high above and let his ability wash over him. His frame shook and he nearly screamed out loud as his bones morphed, shrunk and some ever disappeared. Suddenly, the quivering stallion stilled and in his place was a huge eagle - although not nearly as big as his equine form.
With a mighty heave of wings, Romeo lifted his new frame off of the ground and let his keen blue and brown eyes explore the land before. A small speck in the difference alerted him to the whereabouts of the intruders and he tipped his left wing in order to veer around. Romeo hovered just above where the other beings where and a flash of recognition lit up his eyes. This was a mare he knew. It had been a long time and she had slipped from his mind as if an eel, but all the memories came rushing back. The first mare in a long time he had claimed.
Although shifting so soon back into his equine form could sometimes drain more strength from Romeo than desired, he thought it would be wiser to approach the mare in the form she would be most familiar with. He allowed his true form to wash back over him and after dropping a few metres in the air, his huge black and white wings snapped out and snatched him from his fall.
Angling downwards, Romeo veered off to the right a little so he could land among a copse of trees to shelter his landing. With a small thud, he cantered to keep up his momentum before slowing down to a brisk walk. His huge, cresty neck was arched as he approached the mare as memories ran through his mind. He stopped in front of her just in time to hear his son's words...
I thought you were one of the dead, Mummy
A pleased grin plastered across the black and white stallion's face as he eyed his son. Wings and a horn! Romeo blinked slowly in approval. His nostrils flared as the tang of blood and birth invaded his senses and his cold, dual-coloured eyes gazed down at the mare.
Well, if it isn't memories from long past. You have born my son well, although he looks weak. However, he is like me with his horn and wings. You should be proud.

Seraphim saw his father's smile and returned the gesture looking up at him with pupiless black void eyes and sharp teeth already inside his small mouth. Do not call me weak father, I simply faught mother too much to come into this world, I am stronger then you will ever imagine. the tone unusually deep for a newborn, his altered vocal chords making his voice all the deeper.
Aries snorted beckoning her son closer, she did not appreciate her son being called weak, He is as much a part of me as he is you. her fiery eyes glancing warningly towards romeo. She was so very tired, it had been an exhausting experience to give birth, let alone to a creature that fought from the get go.
Seraphim spread his wings, they were glossy like the colour of a crows, and the appearence of flames flickered across his overly warm body. This one was going to be painful to feed. With such sharp teeth. But she would see her son flourish. She would not let his father be proven right, he was not weak.
Born alike to a blackened serpent, the creature didn't nessicarly have to be evil? Was it nature or nurtur that decided the personality of a beast.

ROMEO Romeo looked down at his son coolly, meeting his pupil-less black eyes unflinchingly. The sharp teeth was definitely an interesting little mutation and Romeo appreciated the use that they would be in a fight. Hearing the colt's deep voice made Romeo's eyebrows rise up into his forelock but allowed no other emotions to pass across his face. The little black colt's words were strong - way too strong and wise to come from a weakling. The black and white stallion felt an inkling of pride leak into his otherwise cool demeanor as he looked down at his son.
Perhaps I was wrong. You may make a worth son of mine yet. His brown and blue eyes glanced down at the mare in front of him, his odd eyes staring impassively. The warning did not mean much to the stallion at all, but he knew that he was close to unleashing the wrath of a new mother. At this thought, a cruel smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he turned away from Aries to watch his son more closely.
The flames that appeared over the young foals body impressed Romeo and he felt the increasing tug of pride. A small, satisfied smile crossed his face - an odd feeling to one as cool as the stallion - as the glossy black wings of his colt expanded. He may make a fine stallion and Heir yet.
What be your name, Son? I declare you fit to be by Heir, until another son born to me comes along. Then, when the youngest reaches the age of his maturity shall all sons fight to see who will become my rightful Heir. Only the fittest survive in my world. I shall raise you to be a fearsome warrior and one of the best stallions this land has seen - fit enough to follow in my own footsteps. You and your mother are free to roam my lands for here you will find enough feed and water to keep you both strong and healthy. There is a condition to my hospitality - you are not to leave my lands without the company of myself. If you do not agree to these terms, or come up with a suitable compromise, you shall have to leave her to not return...
Romeo glanced at his son and Aries in turn, all emotion now wiped from his face, as his dual-coloured eyes slid over the pair. His white horn glinted sharply in the growing light as they neared midday and his black and white coat gleamed from the bath he had taken earlier. His nostrils flared sharply as he familiarised himself with the mare and colt's scents, his ears rotating as he continually monitored his land for intruders.
OOC: I'm not sure how I could fix up his 'proposition'. I tried to phrase the end so that you get some say in it, but in typical Romeo fashion he just wants to claim everything pretty much xD Sorry if this isn't okay - feel free to PM me if it's not and I shall modify it :3
