ROMEO

Romeo stepped into the land of Venera and flared his nostrils. The scent of Lalia, of the reigning monarch, was faint and nearly a month old. It was why the black and white stallion had approached this land in the first place - well, except for his plans for world domination.

Ears flicking back and forth, the stallion stretched out his wings to their full extent and rolled them back in their sockets to relieve the tightness that had accumulated from being tucked away for too long. His long mane and tail had been showered with the petals of the flowers that grew in abundance of Venera and he shook violently, the smell of pollen making his nose itch.

Romeo stopped next to the cool stream and took a large mouthful of water, savoring the cool trickle of liquid that flowed down his throat. Yes, this land would do. Although, the ridiculous flowers could go. Having a last glance around with his two-coloured eyes, Romeo lifted his head and let out a trumpeting call.

Lalia, monarch of Prema, I demand you to step forth! I challenge you for the crown of Prema for the reasons of lack of activity and no one to defend your borders. If you do not reply in a total of 7 days, the crown is automatically mine. What be your decision?
