Velvedore
Velvedore was once an ancient city, built up the sides of a great mountain. Fewer horses live there now, but some chose to stay with their city when plague struck, and the others fled. A few market stalls sell food and wares, and the residents sometimes hold games in the huge gladiatorial arena, although these games are much less violent than those of ancient humans. The city is famous for it's immense population of Ariks, large, intelligent talking cats, who have befriended the city's horses.
